Yes, it was real. I saw it with my own two
eyes. Interestingly enough, I played with my
polarizer to see how much it emphasized
it/deemphasized it, and it makes a huge
difference, depending on rotation.
thanks for the kind words, btw. I actually
wondered if people would assume I'd added it,
since it seems pretty fortuitously located.
I will note that I guessed a rainbow would
appear in that location more than an hour
ahead of time (based on previous experience)
and drove 30 miles to be there when the sun
got to the right angle. It was very nice to
find out I'd guessed right.
This is a fantastic photo with a wonderful
blend of old and new to it, with a great dash
of light and dark colours too. Thanks for
sharing.
