Pumpkin
The garden management had set up a 'trail' for kids to follow, each point on the trail being marked by a pumpkin. I liked the incongruity of the pumpkin, sitting by it's lonely self on this bench, as if waiting for company.
Taken on Hallowe'en 2007 at Rosemoor RHS Garden, near Great Torrington, Devon

nice composition. love the symmetry of the bank. and the fact that the hedges go up with the bank. is that on purpose???

Nicely crisp textures too. The balance between that pumpkin and the empty space on the right is wonderful!

The pumpkin does set off the bench very well, and I like how the shape of the hedge is in keeping with the shape of the bench.
