Chinese people makes the majority over here in Singapore, so i guess it's not that unexpected? however, it's the older generation who reads more chinese books. hahaa, i've only completed a single chinese book in my entire life (神鵰) -- though i can't confirm that this is the norm. :P have always gotten away with short stories for book reviews i had to do for school. eee Chinese is so difficult!

also, it was at the main branch of our libraries . quite a coincidence, i haven't stepped into nor borrowed a single book since 2002 (urm, too OCD. books are quite personal -- the number of hours they spend in ones hands. :P) haahah but for this book i finally put something under my name (i'm lame like that, out of some weird principle i haven't eaten banana or papaya for more than 12 years and have since lost count. hehe)

ahh, since you're so thrilled i'll take a photo and upload it in the morning? it looks like it's been here for quite some time. :D a tad dog-eared already.

hahaha only because they're buns i know i will actually read this book. :P and so many sweet Toto photos!

ps: pretty tiaras Toto and Polo are wearing! also, Polo's photo on the top left hand corner of page 104 is too cute! :D

Since the official language is English, that's why I thought your libraries would mainly carry English books.
If your copy doesn't have Coco's photos in it, then it's copy of the first print, because I adopted Coco after the book was published. But then, I added put in Coco's pic for the second prints (there is only two prints thus far).
Anyway, I really hope you enjoy my book! :D

yeah, it's true that it's mainly made of English books, but all libraries carry Chinese, Malay and Tamil books too. :) though mom said it's quite hard to find bunny and hamster books at smaller branches. ah, and my dad's generation's made up of both 華校s and 英校s, unlike now where schools only teach in English, so they'll still have to cater to the older generation. :)

oh, but Chinese bookstores/sections are really quite small these days. kind of like opposite the situation in HK (at least in 2004) when i easily found huge Chinese bookstores but comparably small English bookstores and with only the popular titles. haha, so i spent a lot of time in the central and times square pageones a lot then (in a strange contrast, i see most Chinese books in the Singapore pageone). ooh, but i really like this Cantonese dictionary i got at the huge Chinese bookstore at causeway bay (mom kept stealing it when i brought it back home; we have sucky Cantonese, and you can't find Canto dictionaries here! hehe).

yup! i think it's a copy of the first print! i've browsed through the whole thing, and bookmarked a few pages for mom to take note off. hehee.

i think it's a very informative book! lots of useful information. :P must make mom memorise them. better to have more bunny knowing people around, and having a book help me with teaching her. haha else i will become as naggy as her one day. having a book tell her that too many carrots for Andora has lots more credence than me. haha.

and so many pretty pictures alongside the information! urm, and also bunny pubes. i never thought i'd ever see a male bun's. :P (i see Andora's too much cos i have to clean her anal scent glands from time to time; when it's too stinky she refuses to groom her own butt!)

now that mom is increasingly informed she's started to cut down the treat giving. haha Andora over producing cecals did help in convincing her too. ;)

but dad! haha because Andora begs and follows him all around the house giving her treats is the only way to make her give up. :| she runs after him like no one else! it's really like high speed chases behind him wherever he goes. very fun to watch. haha, very funny in the beginning too, when he was a tad scared to be touched by her (he's OCD too haha). he's no longer as scared as before though -- i don't hear "no no no no" coming from the kitchen in the middle of the night anymore. ;)
