Escape From Wonderland

    Soundtrack

"I'm waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust
    I'm breathing in the chemicals"

This is my friend Charis! We used to go to school together back in the old days - this is the first time I've seen her in about 7 years!!

Charis came up today with the intention of generously lending me her rabbit, Astral, for a shoot. The shoot was cancelled at the last minute, so instead, Charis became my model ;)

I loved the idea of shooting with rabbits, but wanted to do something a bit gritty and sad. I hope people can look into this picture and make up a story. I wanted to portray Alice a little differently - not a little girl anymore, but a woman who has been through a hell of a lot and got her scars along the way. Charis herself has quite the story, so in a way I like that it reflects that!

Hi Rosie. If you look at the photo on black background, you will notice that there is a white line on the bottom right, I guess it was some detail to perform the cutting or cropping the image. In any case, the picture is great.

Beautiful, dark and emotive. The bunny makes me want to squeal, but her expression stops me and makes me wonder about her story. Excellent work!

Despite the 'Alice in Wonderland' theme being a bit overused, you still managed to make it look so unique. The rabbits look like they're trying to find shelter, which works perfectly for the concept you're trying to portray. You're very creative; keep it up!
