Trailhead: Wilson Mountain Trail
Richard Wilson was an old bear hunter who lived at Indian Gardens. In 1885 he was killed by a large grizzly bear in what is now known as Wilson Canyon.

San Francisco Peaks
Looking at the San Francisco Peaks in the distance. They include the highest peak in Arizona (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humphreys_Peak) and are about 11 miles north of Flagstaff and some 40 miles north of where this photo was taken.
