Do you put your wallet and passport in your bag? What if you need to make an emergency landing? You'll end up on a foreign runway with no means of identification or money! :-)

Have a safe trip.

shawdm: to be honest, I'd not thought of that. I like traveling with nothing in my pockets, but you're right. In an Emergency Situation I wouldn't have time to get my wallet and passport from my hand luggage, and that would suck. Hmm.

jntolva: the power adapter is in the other bag.

The DVI->VGA adapter I have is in 2 parts, with a small bit of cable between the 2 connectors. Unless this isn't the Apple one wot came with your MBP?

Be sure to say hello to Moo peeps (I know Denise is going), Flickr peeps... well anyone who might vaguely know me.

Moo cards are too small except the big ones which are too big. What sort of a product is that?

Andy: this is another one I found. I've been carrying both for a while, but this week I'm just bringing the one-lump version. It seems a bit more compact.

On the plane topic, top tip from someone in the airline business. If you are traveling business don't be tempted to take your shoes off and put on those big socks from the BA wash bag before take-off. This is the most dangerous part of the flight, ever tried walking over bent, shattered aeroplane without shoes on... :-(

And yes have your wallet, and mobile in your pocket so you can call home to say you are ok and buy a ticket on the next flight out !

You don't have ANY stickers on your Powerbook? Hmm surprising, and somewhat suspicious. What's the problem?

Actually, I have been waiting (too long now) until I had enough.

SXSW was a good source of stickers, so I'm ready to go now. There are some from Redmonk waiting for me at work tomorrow, and I expect to be finally taking some photos of my stickered-up MBP tomorrow.
