- This is a 'birds eye view' shot. To create some depth between the TARDIS and the printed background, the TARDIS was placed (at an angle) on top of a plastic business card box.
TARDIS Mk VI
This version of the TARDIS exterior 'blipped' into existence when the Doctor was either in his 8th or 9th incarnation and didn't change again until the Doctor's 11th incarnation.
The windows were white with a thin blue border.
The telephone panel had a white background.
The exterior had much larger dimensions than any previous version.

Great shot, but the special effects look kinda "phone-y." ;-)

I absolutely adore this! I mean, that's a TOY?! It looks so REAL. It's a real trick to photo on actual backdrops rather than photoshopping it in, though I've seen some brilliant results doing it that way, keep 'em coming.

Thanks everyone! I originally took this for a friend who wanted an iconic Doctor Who image for a project she was doing...but I ended up keeping this for my Flickr photostream...how selfish of me :)
