Mark Chesnutt in ConcertI really enjoy shooting live entertainment. I've photographed the Verde Valley Fair for the last three years and finally had some entertainment and staging, lighting that was worth spending a little time on. This is fairly early in his set. When I introduced myself to his tour manager he took one look at my camera's and lenses and he said, "We normally only allow the photographer to shoot the first three songs. That's it! But I think I will let you have full run of the place. Go wherever you want, even up on stage". I'm hoping they like these!

Mark Chesnutt in Concert with Ferris WheelI just had to use the ferris wheel as a backdrop for a few of these images! I like the bright lights as the backdrop for a subtle cold light on Mark.

Mark Chesnutt in ConcertBoy do I love B&W! Mark was having a great time as his guitar player that has been with him for many years had just returned for his second concert after a bad accident. They didn't want to stop playing!

RCP-Joe Diffie_IMG_6951
Joe Diffie performed Friday night at the Verde Valley Fair in Cottonwood Arizona. He's a wonderful performer and extraordinary vocalist. He was also very giving of his time and took time out several times during the performance in order to sign autographs for anyone that came to the front of the stage.
