Seal at Kaikoura

Kaikoura, Canterbury, New Zealand.

I spent a fair while sitting around this seal colony, when this one came up only a couple of metres away from me.

The next morning I was able to get a boat to take me out to go snorkelling with these wild seals. To chase and be chased by wild seals and not feel threatened at all is something I'll never forget.

All you can eat buffet
