Should have been T-Mobile G1 logo

"Terrance and Phillip are geometrically-figured with small beady eyes and Pac Man-like heads which flap up and down whenever they speak." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrance_and_Phillip
Should have been T-Mobile G1 logo by Todd Barnard.
The first Android mobile phone is purportedly called the G1, to be sold by T-Mobile later this year. Speculation from various Android fan sites say that the phone's logo is a blue letter 'G' and a magenta number '1'.

Epic FAIL. Should just be a magenta robot, no letter or numbers ( Which won't translate to other parts of the world ).

so, AT&T or Orange would use an orange robot, Vodafone or Verizon would use a red robot, and so on.

Yeah I guess. Iconography and color mnemonics are always better than alpha numerics! The best logos don't need text ( Apple, Shell, etc. )

BTW you will never, EVER see an Android phone from AT&T. CEO has stated publicly

"...Android makes it impossible for us to enforce our business rules..." ( read: rob our user blind )
