30 days of night
Nikon D700 - Nikkor 85mm f1.8 - 1/250 - f3.2 - 200 + one Flash SB900 deported
In the little town of Barrow, Alaska, so far north that during the winter the sun does not rise for 67 days. The pitch black for a while is the ideal place to be for a vampire mostly if fresh human blood live in there. That is my photographic context :). This is the story of a horror comic book mini-series written by Steve Niles, illustrated by Ben Templesmith and published by IDW Publishing in 2002. In 2007 a film adaptation was made.
My main idea with this creative photo was to working the Chiaroscuro (light-dark). reference : Caravaggio, Rembrandt, de la Tour, Vermeer, wright, Da vinci, Geertgen tot Sint Jans, Gerrit van Honthorst

Waiting moment..
Nikon D700 ; Nikkor 85mm f1.8 ; f2.3 ; 400 ISO + remote
That's a recent creative edit. This picture was in my brain for a while and I attempted to make it. The render is quite well in regards of my initial idea. Post-process was really hard here, I have made lot of sample to approach this final result. May be it's not optimal but nowadays I haven't other ideas about post-processing.
No action yet, it's just a waiting moment ; waiting for something ; but what..?

Bad meeting in forest
Imagine that you are sleeping in a wide forest after a hard trek. In the night you are awake by some light and some little noise quite freak out. You go out of your tent and with eyes half close, you see that....a man with a rifle standing in front of you with a big light, you can't discern his face, you just can see his breath....
