londonfgss night ride - Nov '08 |
This was a fun night out. It was
organized by the londonfgss forum. We met at 22:00 at Tower Bridge and
most of the 120+ people made it all the
way to Kew, on our way crossing each and
every bridge across the Thames riding 36
Km one way.
It was my first time riding a 'fixie'.
It was such an adrenaline rush!!!
Nevermind the gear thing, it was
actually the first time in 10+ years I
rode anything other than a 26x2.3-inch
wheels and bars narrower than say 23
inches.
Thanks to Eric for sorting me out with
the bike. Thanks to everyone for making
it happen!!
Respect to all fixed-gear folk - your
way of biking is hard, but really
addictive! I'm off to find a skinny'ol
frame with horizontal dropouts...
P.S. If you find yourself in the pics -
drop me a flickr mail and or comment.
Thanks :-)
