I surprised myself by finally working up the courage to approach one of the groups that hangs around this east London square and ask them if I could take their picture. This shoot was hopefully a first step in the start of a mini project. Some are more candid than this one but its a clean picture that sets the scene.
If W looks serious it's because he is. He took my hand; looked me in the eye and told me I was honest - luckily. It was a fascinating and humbling experience - hope to go back tomorrow.
