My main man Daz has been producing some awesome photography of late as his passion and excitement have been re-kindled with new gear and projects. Talking about it with him at least reminded me that I have been pretty lapse in picking up my camera of late since failing to keep with my family365 project.

I'm flat out training for my first half marathon so am unlikely to start posting to regular projects at the moment but I shall make at least a concerted effort to shoot a little more than I have over recent months just to make sure I don't get too rusty by the time the weather improves.

erm this is me...trying to look all grumpy and sexy...never a look I've been able to pull off...I just look like a cock! lol

I've been trying my hand at bread making over the last week or two. I've had a lot of good advice and some sourdough starter from The Phoenix Bakery in Weymouth ( www.phoenixbakery.co.uk/ ) which has really helped.

Sourdough has long been my favourite type of bread. I just love the taste of it. Making bread by natural means and knowing exactly what is in it really floats my boat (especially since getting fitter and starting running this year but also as a parent it means lots to me). This is my 3rd attempt and I'm pretty pleased. It's not quite an artisan beauty but considering I lack culinary skill, equipment and anything approaching experience It's a good effort.

OMG! I don't run for a week and look how much weight I've put back on! HO HO HO. Although this Santa run is only two miles I have a feeling it's going to be epic for the tinseltoes....quality suits! Can't wait to see Sally Rudd, Glen Conroy, Andy Pettman, Tim Hill, Ben Delplanque, Chris Brown & Sharon Morgan in theirs!! We still have a little way to go before hitting target though!
