Design: Lubetkin / Tecton, 1947. Implementation: Lasdun, Drake, 1955. Grade II listed 2011. Six-storey block with central elevator and open stairs at either end. The access balconies are faced with contrasting horizontal and vertical pre-cast concrete panels to create a distinctive, attractive pattern on the west elevation. Hallfield Estate, Paddington, City of Westminster.
