Sorry for the long time between photos shared here. Between a bad sinus infection and being busy at work, I have had little time to get to a sharing lately.
This was taken at the Montlake Fill near the University of Washington. When I was a kid in the 60s, this was a land fill. Part of it has become playing fields and the rest left to nature. Now the center for Urban Horticulture maintains the part that was left natural. There are several ponds and birds all over the place.
It was close to sunset and this tree was practically on fire with the light. IT is an HDR, but like most of what I do, I strove to have a realistic rendering of what I saw.
