Very strong North winds caused these waves at St. Joseph, Michigan.

When I arrived before dawn at this site (Tiscornia Park) I went down to the beach front to see what was coming. I came back over the dune crest about 30 minutes later to see an army of photographers setting up.

I laughed with joy.

I'm impressed at the skill with which these birds kill every small aquatic animal they can find.

The bright streak at the bottom is the International Space Station. There is a meteor streak near the center of rotation.
