Here's a sneak peek of the new version of Modern Clix, my free Wordpress theme that as today, has reached more than 5000 downloads.

What's new?

* A new grid: 1080px wide (wide-screen!)
* More paddings. More white-space.
* Bigger images.
* Better typography. As leaked in the screenshot, I'm using Lucida Grande with letter-spacing properties for better readability an extra slickness. By-lines are improved too.
* Color schemes.
* Better integration with Flickr and Twitter.

Opera 10 Beta @font-face test

A quick test on Opera 10 beta (http://www.opera.com/browser/next/) with @font-face reveals a strange type treatment for OpenType fonts. Everything looks normal for TrueType fonts though.

On left, Safari 4 Beta. Click on "all sizes" for the full image.
