Lone Elm in color

Newer Older

Here is a color shot of the house in Lone Elm, Missouri. Below is a textured version. I probably like the regular version, but I already spent time on the textured one, so you get to see them both.

Lights in the Old Farmhouse, David Sebben, calakmul, blhunter09, and 18 other people added this photo to their favorites.

Ok, I'll cast my vote for the regular shot. What a wonderful looking house. The symmetry, the colors, and the wood geegaws on it make this a special place. But, did you peek inside?

The whole series is great - this frontal shot of the building shows its charater nicely. The textured gives it a little more faded age appearance.

How did I miss this? OMG - this is an 'Ariel' house; I would live there without a second thought. What a stunning example of attention to detail and craftsmanship; I could look at this place for hours. I love this and would favorite it a hundred times if I could. Since I'm not good with dating houses would you say turn of the century?

lol...I've been dreaming about this place - well since we're on the same planet/wavelength/train of thought it's good we agree on the place we should live!
