Llywelyn's Magnificent Tomb

Llywelyn 'The Great' ap Iorweth's stone tomb located at the Church of St Gwrst in Llanrwst. After his death in 1240 Llywelyn was laid to rest in Aberconwy Abbey in Conwy but had to be removed to Maenan Abbey. The coffin was removed during the Dissolution, but no body or lid to the coffin remains.
