and for those leaving idiotic comments:
- know your equipment, check the GN of one SB-200 and then do the math: it's not as much power as it looks.
- it's not that heavy. an extra 2 lbs at most.

Cool.. I see the sbr200;s are about $160 each. For all on the camera the total would be something like $1280. With a ABR800 costing $400 and having more power this seems like more of a novelty. I do enjoy the creativity and the sample shots look real nice.

I do agree that the Alien Bees is cheaper. However it's too powerful to shoot portraits that close (you have to shoot at least an f/8)

With this setup you can shoot at a very wide aperture and keep DoF

Certainly a nice setup and has great portability vs most powered ring lights. Nice one. For less power I've seen people make custom deals out of bowls, this has those beat hands down.
