West Beach Once More

West Beach, Silloth. Another shot from Silloth and West Beach. Just before Christmas part of the protective wall collapsed and had to be rebuilt. The line of sea defences you can see in the shot were strengthened using some of the rubble from the wall and bulked with a bit more crap for good measure. Now the line of defence doesn't look quite as pleasing to the eye.

A New Day

A New Day, a cold and frosty morning new New Abbey near Dumfries. I thought i would try and catch a sunrise before going to work this morning. I had a few targets in mind, but spotted this composition from the car, a quick stop, jump over a fence and this was the result. This image was taken without filters, 3 images taken, sky, mid ground and foreground, hand blended in CS5.
