FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE _ August 1, 2012
KENOSHA – Small business owner and Congressional candidate Rob Zerban today sent a package of hometown goodies to Wakuesha native Gwen Jorgensen, who will race this Saturday in the London Olympic games. Zerban’s package includes locally-made Jelly Belly candy, a copy of the Wisconsin State Journal featuring Gwen on the cover, and a Wisconsin hat and tee shirt, along with a personal note.
“Win or lose on Saturday, Gwen’s made everyone at home proud,” said Rob Zerban, small business owner and Congressional candidate (WI-01). “Her hard work on the bike, in the pool, and on the track took her to the most celebrated athletic competition in the history of the world. We’ll all be watching and cheering as she dives in this Saturday.”
Rob Zerban is running to replace Rep. Paul Ryan in Wisconsin’s First Congressional District. He is an experienced business owner and job creator, having founded two companies after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park. In recent weeks and months, his campaign built momentum through the grassroots support of Wisconsinites who oppose the reckless Paul Ryan budget.
