Soaking my tired feet in one of the foot baths at Kuirau Park.

I discovered this crazy building. It's a standard 1960s office block, all straight lines, building in Rotorua's boom era. But then in later years, someone has decided the building isn't grand enough so they've build a neoclassical border around it. This is surely a clear example of the Rotovegas aesthetic.

The grand arch at the entrance to Government Gardens. I think they should periodically grow some vines up it.

I snapped this monarch butterfly in nectar-gathering mode among the flowers in the Government Garden.
