Managed to edit out the coot (from here) to my satisfaction. Or at least as good as I can get it, anyway. :o)

Unlike so many of those "animals making heart shapes" pictures that come out around Valentine's Day every year, this one has the charm of imperfection - the asymmetrical heart, the truly photographic composition. Nice editing job on the coot, too. ;)
