The Scream
Apparently there are several versions of Munch's "The Scream". I was reading a story about the theft of one, the reporter asked if it had been insured, and the curator asked what the point in that would be - it cannot be replaced; the cost of insurance outweighs the limited benefits of having the monetary costs returned.
The idea was to walk towards the camera popping the flash every now and then to get an expanding toothy scream effect; they all came out remarkably different; just slight variations in my position really messed with the result.
This was multiple pops rather than the modelling light; there are too many flashes in the modelling light to give a defined image.

Batboy
The mouth really reminds me a horror film monster, but I can't think which one, maybe The Descent?

Close Encounters
I woke up last night to the feeling there was a presence in the room. A great and mighty alien intellect, floating across the planet Earth, seeking out a new form worthy enough for it's next incarnation of uncountable years travelling the void.
"Then it said, oh FFS, this'll do, I'll miss my reservation at Milliways"
I used the modelling light on the flash to get the high speed strobe effect on this; it is very erratic and unpredictable, and also seems to give off sod all light.
Been Photoshopped a bit to enhance the effect and remove a zip, but it's pretty similar to the original shot.

Fascinating
The Steampunk Hidden Absinthe Boudoir was another triumph of costume, wackiness, absinthe and steel drumming.
Everyone who is anyone in future Victorian Britain was there, smoking alchemical cigarettes and drinking vast quantities of absinthe.
Technical info:
I took the Bencini with me, as it is my most steampunk camera. I have now removed the leatherette so it is even more so. However, with a widest aperture of f/9, these were taken by opening the shutter on bulb, firing a small flash using the test button, and releasing the shutter when it seemed appropriate.
What with that, the absinthe, the darkness, the absinthe, the tiny viewfinder and the absinthe, and the fact that I wound on two shots for each time by mistake due to the weird little negative size, each of these shots, after developing, cost me £1.20. I hope you appreciate them ;o)

Em's Fan Club
It's very hot in the Absinthe Boudoir, what with all the alchemical machines and stills churning out absinthe and electronickal fluids to power the lighting, so a fan is essential.
