Reference Mosaic: Creative Commons Textures

UPDATE - JAN 2009:
This image is by far my most popular. I decided it would be worthwhile to do an update. Instead of 36 images, I've researched and found 36 distinct individuals and texture sets. Hope you enjoy the new mosaic as much as the first one!

I spent about 2 hrs last night searching for textures on Flickr I could use in Photoshop for adjustment layers. Here are my favorite 36 textures, all with Creative Commons Licenses (yay for sharing).

For a veritable treasure trove of textures, I'd recommend checking out:

I can't believe that I missed this for 12 months!!! I took one of the images that you have used and I am only too happy for you to use it.

The image comes from my garden that I landscaped in Cairns, Australia. The reason for the collection of images was that we were moving and leaving this wonderful garden. I miss the garden a lot, I was/am very proud of what we accomplished.

Thank you very much for the credit and the wonderful use of the image.

Rather fitting as we have been moved for just over 12 months.
