Hands Project - Lill
What my hands mean to me:
Hug my children and grandchildren, be able to button and dress myself.
Have the ability to pick things up, open a jar, door, work and clean, drive
a car and be self-sufficient. Put my hand over my heart and Pledge
Allegiance to the Flag of the United States. Beng able to write in a
beautiful cursive handwriting.
What my hands have done, can do, during my lifetime:
Have cooked, cleaned, loved and taken care of my family. Taken
photographs of family and friends. Painted, put down ceramic tile
flooring. Learned sign language.
What I think of my hands:
I've always felt my hands were too short and chubby, but then again
so is my body!!! Since I have gotten my nails done with acrylics... I feel
they look longer and nicer... more feminine. There are lots of veins... but
that is lots of years of love and work.
