Took a trip to Bwlch Gwyn at Ogmore by Sea with friend and fellow tog Rhian. The weather maps did show a break in the clouds from 3pm but apparently the weatherman lied....who'd have thought?
Even though my tripod is capable of folding flat to the ground it still wasn't quite low enough for me to get the angle I wanted so I had to implement the "opobs technique" which for those that don't know involves perching the camera on a rock and essentially hand holding. Quite challenging when your exposures start to run into multiple seconds.....
My first trial run using Leighton Roberts Cokin P series Wideangle mod to eliminate vignette at 10mm. See here. Works a charm!
