Trapped her in the living room using a glass jar and a piece of cardboard. I let her crawl out onto the edge of the jar and took some shots. For this shot I placed a softbox either side and used some card to shield the lens from flare.

It was quite scary chasing a wasp! A couple of times she stuck her stinger out - it looked like a very fine little black needle.
