Taken in North Texas near Lake Lavon not far off of Hwy 78. This was a direct through the lens shot, although I'd been using a #10 welding glass shade to shoot the Venus transit earlier in the day. It was fun following this event around because it was in and out of clouds at sunset, and I really didn't know if I was going to get a shot at it or not. Thankfully, the sun popped out of the clouds one last time right at the horizon.
