More Dark Skies Over Zion

Zion National Park, September 2009

On our way from Bryce to Page, Arizona, we made a brief detour to drive through Zion (from the East entrance to the visitor center and back). While we were at the visitor center, it began to rain. After we drove back through the tunnel (which fascinated Emily; it was dark, so she kept telling us she couldn't see), the rain stopped and the sun illuminated the rocks of Zion with a wonderful light, under some dark threatening skies.
