No getting away

This house is very abandoned! There was an absolute eeriness surrounding it. It had a very long lane (about a half KM) leading back to it and it was on an incredibly remote gravel road. There was a back porch that had a door that lead into the house and another that was hanging from it's top hinge leading to a cellar. I stepped up on the first step of the porch to look down the stairs and I immediately got a chill down the back of my neck. I turned around and left!

Talk about a fantastic place! Wow, the house and the cars are amazing! The cars seem like they are even smiling for you. Great shot! Love the processing!

Love the cars! It's funny, the first thing I thought was that they were parking them out back in order of their being abandoned!

Some places do have an awful energy about them even if they are visually appealing. We went in an old Italianate place that was on a horse farm that no one lived in, though it had been fixed up. It felt horrible and our dog immediately vomited , which he had never done before!

omg...the 'dog getting sick' gave me a really creepy feeling. I totally believe that animals have a sense about these things that humans have become too complex to notice.

You did a great job processing to show how you must have felt! I do also believe that animals have senses that most humans have burried a long time ago. I have gone into many places that I have been told were haunted and very few ever really gave me the creeps! There is one place that is still used all the time that I will not go into unless someone is with me. And forget riding the elevator in that building, thank you, no, I'll walk the 3 flights of steps to the 3rd floor where I need to be!!

A group of us revisited this location yesterday and oddly enough, the vehicles are all gone. The house remains.
