An awesome performance. How many bands have a narrator? And how many of those have the narrator wearing an eye patch?

As much as I love a lot of music, inevitibly there's some I don't like so much, and last night at the Prince Albert was full of that kind of thing. I'm looking forward to things being far more my cup of tea again tonight. There's a blog here with a few more words on the subject, on why a night of music that I'm not so keen on isn't actually a bad thing.

I was never going to get all eight of them on stage in one single shot, so I thought I'd just get one in. And because it was so dark, it was difficult to focus so I switched to manual focus. And because I was on a long lens and they were moving about, the focus shifted from being on the eyes, to being on the front of the hair. But I like it!
