      I read your explanation of how you construct these photos and I was wondering, is this also done in photoshop? I am extremely interested in achieving this look with a portrait, using darkroom enlargers and such.

      ... check this link. The small difference here is that these shots are all on medium format film and I scanned them so the edge marking were visible.
