inglian, yes, this must have predated the bagpipes, I am sure. however I remember he was playing a terrible tune :(

I like it that you took the photo when his cheeks are puffed. the clothes he are wearing are fabulous. Even in Indonesia, particularly in Bali, Indian fabrics are extremely popular in ceremonies because of the use of silver and gold. A lot of the patterns in SE Asia are Indian in derivative of course.
