March of the elephants

March of the elephants by Road Blog.
Intricate carving on stone - base of the wall of the main temple at Konark in Orissa. This temple is dedicated to the sun god Surya and is shaped like a chariot resting on twelve pairs of immense wheels... The walls of the temple are filled with fascinating and intricate carving celebrating life in all its glory...

Watch it carefully and you will see the wheels and elephants move - almost!
