Man and monument

Reflection of a temple now in ruins and tourists resting after a tiring walk around the grounds.

The main temple at Konark is dedicated to the sun god Surya and is shaped like a chariot resting on twelve pairs of immense wheels... The walls of the temple are filled with fascinating and intricate carving celebrating life in all its glory...

The reflection is that of the temple of the sun god's wife Chhaya (meaning shade), now in ruin, situated right behind the main temple.
