Northwest Salamander Quimper Peninsula WA
This salamander has been identified as a Northwest Samamander. Notice the long toes and long legs, a blue tinted color on its sides and belly. The overall lenght is 5.5 inchs or 28 cm.

Uploaded on Dec 29, 2009 Northern Pintail Oak Bay Co. ParkFemale and male pintail fly over after a Bald Eagle was sighted in the area. All the waterfowl were up and on the wing for a few minutes. The eagle landed in the top of a fir tree. All the birds settled and calm returned, for a while.
