Autumn Leaves

another suggestion, perhaps

The lighting is almost surreal, but it is real - a bright autumn day with the sun streaming through the leaves.

Apart from downsampling for the web, this photo is as is from the camera (our 3MP Cybershot).

I like the perspective here. Different than most leaf photos. Unique, and like the one yellow leaf.

This seems excessively sharpened, and I would have gone for a tighter composition to bring more focus on the yellow leaf.

Actually it hasn't been sharpened at all! What looks like halos is in fact the "backlighting" caused by the sun being high and reflected light from some buildings. Unlike many of my pictures, I did no post-processing - just downsampling for the web file.
vis tighter cropping - even if I wanted to, I couldn't without a ladder ... my camera is only a wee baby Cybershot P71 :-)

@lorendeniseb - I don't mind, thanks for the suggestion! Your suggestion would work nicely however as the original is only 3MP, I could only crop it like this for the Web and not for a (decent) print.
