A Bluebird Male

Perhaps the house is acceptable.
The birds have been very, very bright blue. I don't know what they have been eating but I really appreciate the backyard color parade.
The Bluebird house is too close to my house and it has begun to lean tin the wrong direction. I'll correct it before April and hopefully, over the summer, there will be more to watch.

Hooded Merganzer Drake

The bird was in shadows and the reflected morning sun was a bit strong. There a few times when a strobe would be nice.

I like the way the bluebird can pause at the opening. I think I'll design something they can latch onto.

Eastern Bluebird Male

This morning, a flock of Bluebirds invaded my yard. In the winter they are berry foragers and flock together. In the Spring, they wil separate into nesting pairs. In watching this group, it was obvious that three pairs were established already. This bird was very close and it was overcast. So, please excuse the very narrow DOF.
