Screw you, mysteriously flat tire

First flat in more than two and a half years, and it HAD to be this morning when my pump was on the other bike. And I was already late. And it happened about a 20min walk from home. And I still had to stop by Top Pot for donuts for the team. And I was all decked out in my rain gear because it was pouring buckets when I left but sunny as hell when I got back home to trade bikes because I was too lazy and late to change the flat and too nervous to change it and discover that I'd left something in the tire and risk another flat AGAIN 20min from home.

Riding the grocery getter in full lycra and goretex regalia makes me feel like an idiot. Screw you, mysteriously flat tire. Screw you right in your ear.
