Beach front view

Taken on Southend beach front, difficult compsosition as i was holding the camera through railings whilst on my knees, added a filter to help combat the glare of the sun and keep a blue sky, not sure the tree on the left adds anything and would perhaps be a good location for sunset photo.

Rumble from above

Taken under Southend pier, cropped to remove some muddy sand in the foreground and converted to b&w in Elements. Difficult picture to take as the sun was high and causing reflection off the wet sand, to help combat this i tried to stand with one of the pillars blocking the direct sun. I think worked out ok but i would have like to see more details in the pillars.
