This shot was not typical of last night, as usually there were 9, 10 or more band members on stage. About every third song, including this one, frontman Shane MacGowan, left stage. I think he drank another bottle of whiskey each time he left. MacGowan called the stage backdrop a portrayal of "humanity's love affair with the subway."
