Solo Program

Since early January, I've been ice skating during lunch at a nearby ice rink. Today, because there was a very light drizzle, and it was somewhat mild, I had the rink all to myself, so I snapped this picture.

The ice was perfect. Hard, but with a certain softness, so I was able to glide with very little effort. Alone on the rink, I skated forwards, backwards, clockwise, counterclockwise, and (my favorite) right up through the middle, where there are usually figure skater wannabes (at the indoor public rinks, anyway).
