Joel skiing the steep and deep on the Duffey Lake road. In fact, it was so steep that even the trees were growing horizontally.

Wednesday night skiing with Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports. Skiing down the Cut on Grouse Mountain with our student. He's in the middle, using the long pole for support and balance, and as an aid for turning on his weak side. The volunteer instructors on the outside of the pole help to initiate and finish the turns,

Moments after this video was taken, the guys crashed and yardsaled on the slope. When I took my skis to help our student get back up on his feet, my left ski got pushed and went for a long ride down the Cut! Needless to say, this was a major blow to my already delicate ego.

First run of the day, and Ryan loses a ski as his bindings weren't set tight enough. We spent about ten minutes looking for his right ski afterwards.

Look! No poles! Olga forgot her poles, and decided that she didn't feel like skiing with a lurk today.
