Erin tells a secret

The complexity of Erin's language has taken a leap in the past six months and it's a lot of fun to watch and listen as she uses language to affect her world. At the same time the complexity of her world is increasing and now she has things that only mom and maybe grandma need to hear, so there are secrets.

Grandpa's camera can't lip read but it can catch fleeting expressions.

Seeding: I'm not sure. It may be daylight but it also might be an overhead can (spot) or a lamp. Actually, the EXIF seems to point to artificial light in terms of time of day.

JB: thank you very much for the nice comments. The key to that softness was the lighting being from her left side so her face is partially backlit. Try it sometime when shooting a person; once you get the hang of it it's a useful technique. Of course with kids you can't reall place them for best effect, you have to hope/pray they wander into the good lighting zone which rarely happens.

Thank you Wild Ideas. As you may have noticed there are big gaps in my "documentation" of Erin, less because she doesn't want the camera in her face, more because she wants my full attention when we're together. Good thing she prefers grandma to grandpa so I can eventually get a shot in.
