Apprentice House The side of the Apprentice House at Quarry Bank Mill - they used to get 60 (yes that is SIXTY appentices living in this house. 40 girls and 20 boys aged 9 and upwards. At night they were locked in on the 1st and 2nd floor. If you go there is a guided tour of about 1 hours duration .
