I'm working on one of these myself. Were you able to reuse any of the crayons on one side for the second side?

Yes, I would just do a bunch of lines, wait a few seconds, turn the canvas, do some more lines, and repeat! I have a few boxes of crayons so even if I ran out of a color I could grab a new one from another box (which didn't happen here but it is nice to be prepared!)
