Amber Passage

Nov. 3, 2009 This image features my somewhat more conventional take on the world famous Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California. I captured this while on a tour bus cruising at around 60 mph with the top compartment completely uncovered and opened to all the gusting wind and fresh air. I will say that this helped make the experience that much more memorable. I have traveled all my life across a similar (though greatly smaller) bridge, the Narrows Bridge, which connects the Kitsap Peninsula to Tacoma, Washington. But I never have traveled across it in this fashion, though when I see this image, it is making me want to capture an image of the Narrows Bridge from this vantage because besides the color, these bridges really would not look much different at all. This image was captured in July 2009 with my Nikon D90. Enjoy! CommentsAqua0646 (Pat)
